Managers may find it difficult to provide the initial training of entry level employees in a way that ensures a successful introduction to the worker’s job tasks and to the agency’s policies and philosophy.
This teleconference will review some effective strategies for developing a framework to accomplish this crucial initial phase of training as an important part of staff development. Topics will include: a 90-day checklist, the training environment, presenting the big picture and ways to maximize trainees comprehension of presented material.
